clear, non-staining and evaporates completely. Formulated to aid leveling
and improve brushing or rolling of exterior or interior oil base paints,
varnishes and enamels. Excellent for cleaning brushes or rollers after
painting.

DENATURED
ALCOHOL
Part Number 628
190 proof denatured ethyl
alcohol with a poisonous additive. Not for human consumption.
Suitable for general household use and is a non-corrosive
cleaning agent. Recommended as a fuel for alcohol lamps and
stoves. Ideal for chafing dishes. Burns with a clear, colorless
flame. Alcohol flames are almost invisible and care should be
taken to be sure it is totally out when fuel is added to the
reservoir. Can be used as a shellac and specialty coating
thinner and when denatured alcohol is specifically called for.

XYLENE

Also known as xylol, xylene is a medium evaporating, clear,
colorless, aromatic hydrocarbon solvent for thinning varnishes,
rubber cements and many synthetic enamels. Can be used to
remove wax, grease and polish from surface prior to painting.
Can be used to thin adhesives and when xylene is specifically
recommended. Can also be used to clean tools, machinery and auto
parts. Soluble in alcohols, insoluble in water. Meets Federal
Specification TT-X-91B, Grade B.

TOLUENE
Part Number 1524
Also known as toluol,
toluene is a fast evaporating, clear, colorless, aromatic
hydrocarbon solvent used for thinning dyes, many gums, resins,
oils and certain primers and topcoats. Can be used as a thinner
and cleaner when toluene is specifically called for. Soluble in
alcohol, insoluble in water.

KETONE

A low boiling, fast evaporating,
water-white solvent, which can be used to thin clear or
pigmented, nitrocellulose, acrylic, butyrate lacquers and 2-part
epoxy coatings. It can also be used for thinning vinyl acetate
and vinyl chloride copolymers.

Fast evaporating, water-white, aliphatic
hydrocarbon solvent. Used primarily as a thinner for pigmented
and clear coatings for spray application, where mineral spirits
drying time is too slow.

ACETONE
Part Number 1754
A water soluble, clear, colorless, fast evaporating solvent for
lacquers, airplane dope, lubricants and many gums and resins,
including polyester and nitrocellulose resins. Can be used to
remove wax, grease, polish and other foreign matter from
surfaces prior to applying other coatings. Used extensively in
the boat industry to clean fiberglass surfaces and remove
residual resin. Soluble in water, alcohol and many volatile
oils.
Meets Federal Specification O-A-51-F.

Used to help prevent
cracking, checking, splitting and rot of wood, rope, canvas,
fish lines and boats caused by exposure to moisture and
weather. This product soaks in and dries rapidly, leaving the
active ingredients behind. For interior and exterior use.
